Dear Reader,

            Thank you for checking out my blog! I am thrilled to tell you that I have an exciting missional opportunity coming up this summer, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you. God has placed a love of ministry in my heart, and over many years has been fueling a passion for England. This past fall, God opened a door for me to be able to experience both in the form of a two-week internship in Manchester, England!

            This July, I will be doing a two-week missional internship with Ivy Church in Manchester, which is part of the NewThing Network - a connected network of reproducing churches. Ivy Church now has four campuses around city, and many people are finding their way back to God. I will be spending these two weeks doing an assortment of ministerial tasks between the campuses, ranging from youth group and weekend service activities. I couldn’t be more excited, and I am so thankful that God has opened the door for me to experience this opportunity.

            As I prepare for this adventure, I would like to ask you to consider supporting me in a couple of ways. First, I would like to ask for your partnership in prayer. Pray for Ivy Church as they continue expanding and bringing more people closer to Jesus. Pray for the people in Manchester, that those who have not found their way back to God would open their hearts to the good news of the Gospel. And lastly, please pray for me as I prepare my heart for God to use me in this environment, and that I would keep my heart and eyes open for opportunities to do His work in Manchester.
